I’ve made the something similar to this but I can’t find the right part to connect it to. I’ve been told it should be connect to the AIR input/intake pipe is this right. Please can you help me?

Yes, thats right, connect it to the intake port... it is the vacuum port to the intake manifold.
In HHO's and Hydrogen Inducement Systems... installation makes up 50% of the success... it's not that important to have just a good unit, but the installation plays a crucial role for a successful set up.
